During the Bottle-Flip Challenge, we were all excited to see who could land the most bottle-flips in a minute. While some people flipped just one, others did an astonishing thirty, bringing back memories from 2016. By far, this challenge had the most participants in many houses, although many of us didn't have the opportunity to participate due to time constraints.
The Pushup challenge was quite the activity this morning! Some of us hit more than sixty pushups in just a minute, while the majority of us were watching, knowing we couldn’t do more than two! Some of us demonstrated our true skill, and it was impressive to see everyone trying as hard as they could to show their house spirit.
The third activity of the morning, the Plank-Knockout Challenge, demonstrated high participance, with some of us lasting almost five minutes. All of us showed our true team-spirit by cheering on our house-mates, or taking part in the activity ourselves, and had a great time during this activity.
These house-events allow us to show our inner house spirit, with houses cheering on and motivating house-mates and some of us pushing ourselves to the limit for the Crystal Cup. It’s been more than a year since all of us have participated in inter-house events and sports matches, and it’s great to know that they’ve started up once again after the pandemic with the help of the Student Council. The Ping Pong Challenge, Target Throw, and Speed Bounces are all on the calendar tomorrow so get ready to show some house spirit and work towards those points!
