The summer transfer window has been declared shut for the upcoming season in the United Kingdom; for all the European clubs it has been set for 2nd September. There has been quite a lot of action from some of the biggest premier clubs. We have seen top class players from big clubs move elsewhere, this has been a nail biting window with big transfers taking place. Arsenal has done big business with the additions of Nicolas Pepe, David Luiz, Dani Ceballos, Kieran Tierney and Walim Saliba. Manchester United has made some defensive reinforcements to strengthen where they have lacked in the last three seasons with the likes of Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James. Chelsea has hired former player and legend Frank Lampard as the new gaffer for the club. These are only a few of the many transfers that have taken place. Fans are eagerly waiting for some quality football in the Premier League and they shall receive it soon with the addition of superstars to the league.
In Spain, Real Madrid has completed the signing of long chased target Eden Hazard for a whopping 150 million Euros, and has signed a lot of young talents. Coming to the Catalonian Champions, Barcelona has signed Antoine Griezmann from Athletico Madrid for a reported 108 million euros to be a potential replacement for long struggling striker Luiz Suarez. Barcelona has also ignited their interest in former player and Brazil’s talisman Neymar Jr for a potential move back to the place he called home. There are going to be some more interesting transfers outside of England. Cross your fingers and pray that your team signs someone new and loses no great player.
